counsellors looking for placements whenever there are places
Applicants need to be Jewish (denomination and
degree of practice are not relevant to your application)
To have some understanding of the London Jewish
communities (preferably by having or having had some
role in a congregation or Jewish organisation).
To have completed a Foundation Course and preferably
to be in the second or further year of a non-directive
counselling/psychotherapy training which leads to UKCP
registration or is accredited by BACP.
To check with your tutor or course director that you
have reached a stage of professional and personal
development to be ready to undertake clinical work or,
if you have begun clinical work elsewhere, that your
supervisor agrees you are ready to take on another
To be in personal therapy, at least weekly, for at
least 6 months previous to application, with a
non-directive therapist registered by UKCP or BCP or
accredited by BACP, or to have had substantial therapy
with such a therapist.

attend fortnightly supervision and twice yearly (Sundays)
